I so love to draw in pen. I took this picture at  Allepey,Kerala while cruising on the houseboat through the beautiful backwaters of Kerala.I saw these two coconut farmers loading up their boat with their harvest . Houseboat ride at Allepey is so wonderfully calm and soothing ,to see the  local people go about their daily life in the lush green landscape.

I saw this huge beautiful tree at the National Botanical Gardens, wales.Its radiating branches and the bright green leaves made a good subject for my art work.

Aberdulias waterfalls is in wales. It has attracted artists over the years including Turner,John Ruskin and many more. Of course the landscape has changed considerably over the years since the decline of the Tin woks  which was on site. you can read more about its history here

Athiraplly waterfalls

The waterfalls at Athirapally, Kerala is really amazing, it is also sometimes known as the Niagra Falls of India.I have tried to capture the beauty this magnificent mesmerising waterfall. I decided to use watercolour and ink to bring out the the rocky texture of the landscape.
